Biography

Graham

Salve!  My name is Melissa Graham.  I am the Latin teacher at R.B. Stall High School.   Helping students, and teachers, understand how Classical languages and cultures are relevant and beneficial to the success of students today is a challenging calling that I energetically embrace. I also have a strong technical background and love finding new ways to incorporate modern technology into ancient studies.

My childhood was spent following my Army dad as he served our country in Germany and the United States.  I married my husband in 1992 and supported him as he served our country as a C-17 pilot for 20 years.  We chose to "retire" in Charleston South Carolina and finally settle down in one spot.

I am the mother of eight children that have joined our family through birth, adoption, and guardianship.   They are 18 - 26 years old.  I also have two granddaughters with a third on the way.  My family keeps me hopping.  My students also quickly learn I have heard every excuse ever made after raising that many kids! LOL

I completed my Associates in Arts degree from Trident Technical College before transferring to the College of Charleston.  I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts in History, a Bachelors in Science in Foreign Language Education, and an Artium Baccalaureatus degree in Classics.
