Toni Bollinger

My name is Toni Bollinger and I am a Resource Teacher in the Special Education Department. I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Myrtle Beach in 2013 for the weather with my granddog EllaMae. I dislike the cold, snow and ice, but love the warm weather here in the south. Her and I then moved to Charleston in 2015 when I began working here at Stall High School. I have two grown sons of which I am extremely proud. I love reading, the beach/pool, and spending time with my family and friends. I am additionally a HUGE college basketball fan, especially UNC.

I graduated high school in 1982 with a concentration in business and began working for a company working my way up from an accounting clerk to an associate cash analyst over 17 years with no college education. I then worked part-time as a para-professional in the special education department working with students who had learning disabilities. I began college in May 2004 and graduated in May 2007 from York College of PA with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Upon completion of my undergrad, I began obtaining my masters degree in special education in 2007 and graduated December 2009 from the University of Phoenix. I began my special education teaching career in Pennsylvania immediately upon graduating with my bachelors degree in 2007.

How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal, and you have to be willing to work for it. Jim Valvano
