John Huber-MacNealy

background information

My name is Mr. Huber-MacNealy, and I began my teaching career in 2009 in Charlotte, NC at an alternative high school designed to support the lowest-achieving 9th graders in Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. After two years in Charlotte, I moved to Brooklyn, NY to teach and serve as a department chair at a high-performing charter high school where I also served as the head coach of the women's basketball program.  After six years, my wife and I decided to relocate to Charleston, SC to be closer to family and enjoy warmer weather.

I currently teach US History and Constitution here at Stall, I love all things history and politics, and I enjoy working with juniors and my senior advisory.

I graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Political Science, and I have an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from the Relay Graduate School of Education (NY).
