Cyndi Russell-Albach


After receiving her undergraduate degree from Columbia College in English, Cyndi Russell-Albach went on to obtain her Masters in Public Administration from the College of Charleston and her Juris Doctorate from Wake Forest University.  Cyndi practiced law for seven years mostly in the public interest sector and served as the national Appleseed Foundation Deputy Director for three years before deciding to return to her hometown of Charleston to teach.  Gifted and talented endorsed and Advanced Placement certified, Cyndi finds her passion in helping high-achieving, low-income Stall students whom she has been teaching since 2003. She served as Stall’s 2008-2009 Teacher of the Year and was a CCSD Semi-finalist for Teacher of the Year. Since 2004, Cyndi has served as the Speech and Debate Coach, and since 2010 Cyndi has served as the Student Council Advisor. Her home life is blessed with her husband of more than twenty-five years, Alan Albach, and their two children, Hannah and Jason.
